Lobe Pump

Lobe pumps transfer solid materials without damaging them and are commonly used in food applications. These pumps can transfer materials with larger particle sizes compared to other positive displacement (PD) pumps. Since the lobes do not touch each other and the gaps are not as tight as those in other PD pumps, this design results in lower performance when transferring low-viscosity liquids. High-viscosity liquids must be moved at a slower speed to ensure satisfactory performance. Lobe pumps can operate at speeds ranging from 20 to 1200 revolutions per minute, ensuring that liquids move slowly and their structure remains unchanged.

Lobe Pump

Lobe pumps transfer solid materials without damaging them and are often used in food applications. These pumps can handle materials with larger particle sizes compared to other positive displacement (PD) pumps. Since the rotors do not contact each other and the gaps are not as tight as other PD pumps, this design transfers low-viscosity liquids with lower performance. High-viscosity liquids must be moved at slower speeds to achieve satisfactory performance. As the rotors rotate, the space between the lobes and the pump casing changes, causing suction and fluid transfer. Lobe pumps can operate between 20 to 1200 revolutions per minute, ensuring that liquids move slowly and their structure is preserved.
